EcoSalt™ is the granular deicing products offered by Future Road Solutions Inc. that feature ice control performance superior to traditional highway salt, but is less corrosive and can reduce overall environmental damage from winter maintenance operations. EcoSalt™ is manufactured & sized to profesional snow contractor specifications, which makes it ideal for everything from high traffic pedestrain walkways, entrance ways, outdoor stair cases to parking lots and private roads.

A proven technology, EcoSalt™ can used to pre-treat a surface or to de-ice accumulation. EcoSalt™ is effective where regular salt is not. EcoSalt™ is treated with GEOMELT®55, a naturally-derived, environmentally friendly material, with proven track record established through years of use by winter maintenance professionals.

GEOMELT®55 meets the strict specifications of the Pacific Northwest Snowfighters and is the key ingredient in the GEOMELT® family of ice control products distributed in Canada by Future Road Solutions Inc. As a result, EcoSalt™ can reduce your salt usage by 30%, resulting in tremendous cost savings. That translates directly into more miles treated per load as well as less chlorides being introduced into the environment.

This also increases the number of storms you can handle with the same amount of product. EcoSalt™ with the organic coating are up to 80% less corrosive than untreated salt due to the addition of X-22 corrosion inhibitor.

In addition EcoSalt™ resists crusting and chunking compared to regular salt when properly stored.
