Magnesium Chloride otherwise known as MgCl2 has been found to quite a destructive element to concrete and ashphalt surfaces and in light of this Future Road Solutions Inc & GEOMELT® are not including the chemical in it's de-icing and anti-icing products. Please find references below on the subject.
